The Team

David Leichter, CPA and CEO at LAS

David is the founder and CEO of Leichter Accounting Services, having built the firm from scratch about 15 years ago into a team of accountants whose passion is to help clients navigate the complexities of business accounting and taxes. David was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, spent his college years with his wife in New York City, and then settled with his family in Baltimore, MD. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife and six kids, watching baseball (Go Dodgers!) and football (Ravens!), and reading.

Zsamyla “Zsam” Abrasaldo, CPA, Tax Accountant

Zsam is a licensed CPA from the Philippines and has been in the tax industry for 5 years. She’s dedicated to helping clients with their tax return filings and tax-saving strategies. Outside of work, she enjoys baking with her mom and selling homemade goods in their small town.

Isabelita “Sab” Bautista, CPA, Senior Tax Accountant

From Bohol, Philippines, Sab is a remote Senior Tax Accountant who joined the team in 2024. A licensed CPA in the Philippines with an extensive experience in U.S. public accounting, Sab specializes in preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing tax notices, and ensuring compliance. Outside of work, she enjoys unwinding with K-dramas, K-pop, anime, and captivating manga.

Danica Manalansan-Coronel, CPA, Bookkeeper

With nearly a decade of experience in the field, Danica is an accountancy professional currently serving as a bookkeeper at Leichter Accounting Services. She graduated accountancy from Luzon, Philippines, and initially joined the company as a tax preparer before transitioning into the role of bookkeeper over the past year.

Outside the office, Danica enjoys unwinding with a good movie or exploring the latest dining spots around the area.

Charisse Faeldonea, Bookkeeper

Charisse joined LAS in 2023 and works remotely from the Philippines. She holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy, graduating cum laude in 2016. After graduating college, she relocated to the US and began her career as a gaming auditor at a renowned Las Vegas casino and later on managed accounting and supply chain for e-commerce companies. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and doting on her two dogs and two cats.

Sandra Hack, Bookkeeper

Sandra joined Leichter Accounting in 2019 as a bookkeeper. Sandra finds bookkeeping for nonprofits particularly fulfilling. She lives in Baltimore with her husband and children. Sandra enjoys spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys doing artwork.

Chana Komarow, Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Specialist

Chana is a dedicated bookkeeping professional with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, making her a valuable asset to the firm. She expertly manages monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients and also assists those who handle their own books, helping them navigate and utilize QuickBooks effectively through setup, training, and troubleshooting. Originally from Baltimore, Chana has been with the firm for nearly five years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Solomon "Sol" Lesser, CPA, Tax Manager

Growing up in New York, all Sol knew about taxes was that they added 8 cents to every item at the dollar store; eight cents more than he had to spend!

Sol attended schools in the Baltimore area, and eventually married a Baltimore native. At Leichter Accounting, His mission is to ensure our clients comply with all IRS and state tax requirements, while strategically addressing their tax liabilities.

Sara Levinger, CPA, Accounting Manager

Sara, a native New Yorker from Queens, now resides in Pikesville, MD. With five years of experience at the firm, she now leads the Bookkeeping Department as a dedicated and skilled supervisor. Beyond the office, Sara enjoys discussing great books with her book club, staying active at the gym and spending quality time with her husband and four amazing kids.

Ariella Spivack, Office Manager

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Ariella has been the office manager at Leichter Accounting Services for the past two years. In this role, she manages daily office operations to ensure seamless functionality and exceptional client service. Her focus is on delivering top-notch care and meeting each client’s unique needs. Outside of work, Ariella enjoys listening to podcasts, drinking giant cups of coffee, and spending quality time with her family.

Rivka Zryl, CPA, Operations Manager

Rivka grew up in Baltimore, MD and never left. She is a manager at Leichter Accounting Services and oversees the bookkeeping and tax teams as well as company operations. Rivka has been with LAS for more than a decade and has helped the company grow from a staff of 1 to a staff of 12. In her spare time Rivka enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Denise Francisco, Lead Generation Specialist

Denise is based in bustling Manila, Philippines, and is a seasoned Lead Generation Specialist at Leichter Accounting Services with two years of experience. Denise excels at connecting businesses with their ideal clients through strategic outreach. Outside work, she cherishes moments with her family and enjoys unwinding by catching up on the Netflix series.

Jean Tioco, Marketing Manager

Jean is Leichter Accounting Services’ Marketing Manager who has been working remotely since 2017. As a marketer, she believes in understanding the needs of the audience before anything else. Having been born to a business-oriented family, she was introduced to business management and marketing at an early age. Jean enjoys chill days at home while enjoying meals and watching mysteries, documentaries, and fictional films and TV shows.
